While no page in Donor Mine™ can be accessed without first logging in, each page also has a security or password level requirement associated with it. If you do not have the correct Security level, you will not be able to access that page.
Security levels are set up in a hierarchical fashion, with the Database Administrator at the top, Staff below that, Board Members below that and Event Staff below that. Each step of the hierarcy contains additional levels that allow additional control.
The primary levels are:
VOLUNTEER / EVENT STAFF - can view and edit name and contact info, can view and edit notes and communications. Cannot see or edit donations or event info. Cannot run reports.
BOARD MEMBER - can view and edit name and contact info, can view and edit notes and communications. Can see but cannot edit donations or event info. Can run reports. If a gift has been entered as
Anonymous, Board Members can see the gift but can NOT see the amount of the gift.
OFFICE STAFF - can view and edit all information and run all reports. Access to some Administrative functions.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - can view and edit all information and run all reports. Access to all Administrative functions.
Users can only view and edit the
Usernames and Passwords of Users with their security level or a lower security level.
