Notes contain all of the following fields, but not all are required of every note:
TYPE - this is REQUIRED - it tells the system what type of note this is - a a Family Tree note, a note attached to a Gift, a note attached to a Person, etc.
Table - If this record DOES relate to another record such as a Person or Gift, which record table does it relate to? Sometimes the Table will be auto-filled in if you create a note inside of another record.
Record - If this record DOESrelate to another record such as a Person or Gift, which specific record on that table does it relate to? Sometimes the Record # will be auto-filled in if you create a note inside of another record.
Noteworthy Date - If this note is date specific (such as a note about an anniversary), what is that date? Most notes will likely NOT have dates.
Expires - If this note expires, when? An example of an expiring note might be 'living in Europe until Fall 2015. Most notes will likely NOTexpire.
Priority - There are two possible priorities of notes - Normal and High. Almost all notes will be Normal priority. A High priority note will appear prominently on the front page Overview of each Household or Organization, so it should be something all users need to see as soon as they enter a record.
