All records in the database are linked together through a Master Record. A Master Record could be either a
Household or an
Organization. Each Master record can have multiple
Address/
Phone/
Email records, multiple
People records, multiple
Donation records, multiple
Communication Records, as well as other types of records.
All records will be attached to a single
Household or
Organization. You will view, add, and edit all records by searching and entering a
Household or
Organization record.
To
add a
Household or an
Organization, use the appropriate link on the HOME page tab or links that appear on the main page of any
Household or
Organization.
All records associated with a
Household or an
Organization can be edited once your are in their main record. You will see menus specific to each
Household or an
Organization that allow you to
edit information about them (such as
contact information or which
people are on their records) or edit information about their involvement with your organization (
donation history or
volunteerism).
There are a few reports (particularly in the
EVENTS MODULE and the
SILENT AUCTION MODULE) that allow you mass edit records on the reports themselves.
